Mrs. Alyssa Roberts was born and raised in Michigan, and attended the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. In
2006, she moved to California and began her teaching career in Barstow. Two years later, she married her college sweetheart, and they
relocated to Orange County, where they lived and taught until 2017. In 2015, Alyssa left the classroom to work as a Teacher on Special
Assignment. After two years with that position, Alyssa and her family moved to Fishers, Indiana where she works with Indianapolis
Public Schools full time as a Data and Project Coordinator. Alyssa has two children and two dogs, and she loves literature, politics,
and running. What Alyssa loves most about ILA is the spirit of togetherness and the hard work the students show her!
A fun fact: Alyssa ran her first half-marathon in November 2019!
